Address Postal Standard

A- Design

 1- Layout Standard Address

• Place PO Box, City, Country as following example:

• Show the address information on at least 3 lines and not more than 5 lines.

 2- Font

• Leave the space around the address clear and without colored or frames
  (at least 15 mm).
• Recommended Fonts for address: Courier 12,  Arial 10-14,  Time New Roman 12-14.
• Very good Contrast Font between background and printed letters.

 3- Background

• Avoid water mark backgrounds.
• Avoid dark or colored envelopes.
• Avoid Staples or any rigid metal object on  envelopes.

B- Position

4- Size S/I (Short & Long Letter Mail) O/S (over size) A/O (Autre Objet)

• Short & long letter mail: Minimum size 8.5 cm x 12.7 cm / Maximum Size 24.9 x 17.6 cm B5 Short & long letters
   examples:   (22.6 x 11.6 cm) or (19 x 13 cm) or (24.9 x 17.6 cm).
   
• Oversize Letter Mail: Minimum size 25 cm x 18 cm / Maximum Size 21 x 29.7 cm Over Size (O/S) Letters
  examples:   A4 size paper
   
• Autre Objet Letter Mail : Minimum size 21.5 cm x 30 cm / Maximum Size Autr Objet (A/O) Letters
   examples:  (26.5 x 34.2) or (39.4 x 30.5cm) or (32.4 x 23cm)

5- Zone Address for Addressee or Receiver

• Place Addressee's address within the Address Zone
  • At least 40 mm from the top edge / top-up-left.
  • At least 15 mm from the bottom edge.
  • At least 15 mm in from the left and right hand edge.
  • 140 mm at most from the right-hand edge.
     
• Sender: Top-Upper-Left.
• Addressee: Bottom-Right.
• Stamp: Top-Upper-Right.
